TwinLogic’s Sovereign AI and drones on the front line of civil protection

TwinLogic Solutions is featured by Capital, SKAI, Athens News Agency – Macedonia News Agence and several prestigious news portals for its continuing collaboration with VanGuard Security Drones, supporting the Hellenic Fire Service in the early detection of wildfires during the 2026 fire season.

The initiative combines VanGuard’s nationwide network of more than 110 UAV operational sites with TwinLogic’s CIVICS civil-protection platform, enabling continuous, real-time monitoring across Greece.

CIVICS integrates two complementary technologies:

Optic Noesis continuously analyses live drone video streams using AI-powered computer vision to detect smoke and fire events automatically.

GeoAware Optics determines the geographical coordinates of detected incidents in real time, providing actionable location intelligence to support faster and more targeted emergency response.

Operational since 1 May 2026 and implemented for the second consecutive year, this collaboration demonstrates how Greek deep technology can move beyond pilot projects and support large-scale, real-world public-safety operations.

Technology does not replace the people operating on the front line. It provides them with earlier information, improved situational awareness and more time to act.

We thank VanGuard Security Drones for the continued collaboration and acknowledge the personnel of the Hellenic Fire Service who work every day to protect human life, property and Greece’s natural environment.
